Pattie gave the interview with Porter a few months ago and gave them permission to publish this photo - but she didn’t have a copy of it herself. This version was copied from Movieland magazine’s January 1965 issue from an article by John Howard which included several Tahiti holiday photos. A few months later John Howard published another article in Movieland with photos he took of the Beatles and their women in Austria. At that time he wrote that Pattie asked him for a copy of the photo of her and George by the waterfall in Tahiti that he had published in Movieland. I wonder now if John Howard ever sent Pattie and George a copy of the photo, since Pattie didn’t seem to have one to use with the new Porter article?
