Standard Feminist Narrative> let’s go panel to panel, shall we.

Panel 1: This is our introduction that this guy is an enormous douchebag. Why? Because he committed untold social justice faux pas, but the most damning is that he accused a woman of being crazy. That’s unacceptable. Her feelings are absolutely in-fucking-controvertibly sacrosanct. If you think she’s acting bizarre, insane, irrational, what have you… the problem is with you. Never her. Remember that. She is in no way ever accountable for anything. I mean hell, this comic alone portrays the relationship as nothing more than a man’s clusterfucking failures.

Panel 2: You didn’t stand up for me? You didn’t flip the fuck out? You didn’t come to my defense? You’re just a failure as a boyfriend, if not a human being. But see, and here’s the key. If the panel had shown him flipping the fuck out at Rick then he would’ve been possessive, possibly abusive, controlling and we’d be discussing how protective he is of his “property”. And if he gave a low key response? We’d be talking about how he just really doesn’t care about her or the relationship enough.

Panel 3: We’ve gone back to “Her feelings are absolutely valid” with a dash of “Masculine Sexuality is Disgusting and Vulgar” because we have to slip our hate for male arousal in there somewhere. If his dick, or his needs, or his fantasies aren’t really just about pleasing her in whatever capacity they’re something vaguely untouchable, putrid. It’s pretty standard Feminist fare. Try this: have you ever seen a Feminist cartoonist display Female Sexuality as something vulgar? No? Strange.

Panel 4&5: Males are insensitive emotional vacuums that just don’t get it. This is actually going to become important in 3… 2… 1…

Panel 6: Because by the time we get here this is what I’ve seen in this little comic. Here’s my interpretation. A woman who, from the moment she meets him to the moment she leaves him makes herself the emotional focal point of the entire relationship while never even bothering to ask so simple a question as “Why are you emotionally disengaging from me?”

She didn’t give a fuck about what he was doing, or why he was doing it. The her sole effort at “connecting” with him isn’t connecting at all. It’s an accusation.

Feminists view men as inferior, so the notion that a man might actually be emotionally distancing himself from a woman, or tire her of her whining (which she did in fucking four out of six fucking panels) or any other number of things just doesn’t occur to them.

Because to do so would be to suggest that men have some kind of greater value than someone to unload on and to service you.

This is what Feminists think men are: Normally I wouldn’t give two shits about a silly comic but this one almost seems to let slip just how beneath her this artists thinks men are.

Try this: Replace the male with a brick wall and a dildo. On an emotional level is there any significant difference? He’s a fucking prop. That’s very much a Feminists interpretation of masculinity.

See, and you’re thinking “Well, okay, but the comic is about her”.

Except no, it isn’t. It’s about him. He’s the only one we examine. He’s the only one whose motives we question.  He’s the one that goes through the arc of “Run of the Mill Boyfriend” to “Vapid Clueless Asshole Predator” in six panels.

When a Feminist writes a man… she writes him as an object. Because that’s what she views him as.
